6 Easy Ways to Use Done-for-You,
Private Label Rights (PLR) Content to Create Video
By now, we all understand the business building power video can have for our business, but we always seem to come up with excuses not to create video, even though video…
Benefit #1: Allows us to reach new audiences.
We miss out on potential customers who prefer video content, who readily search for content on video sites.
Benefit #2: Provides us with a much higher of level of audience engagement.
Video appeals to audio and visual senses, so automatically grabs and keeps attention. It also offers a more personal connection that written content doesn't. Your visitors will feel like they know you as a real flesh-and-blood person when they can see and/or hear you.
Benefit #3: More readily turns prospects into customers.
There are countless statistics that show that conversion rates increase dramatically on sales page with video. Some, including Brightcove, say conversion actually doubles. That's huge.
But We, Me Included, Still Make (Lame) Excuses:
It's always easier to do what we've always done, but sometimes we surprise ourselves at just how simple venturing into new territory can be…and it's always worth it when it helps us grow our businesses dramatically.
Here are some of the excuses we often make…
Lame Excuse #1: It's too time consuming.
It's easy to just publish written content, but that means we're completely ignoring a huge chunk of our target market because we're worried about just a little extra work. And seriously, if we're using PLR, a lot of the work is already done for us.
Lame Excuse #2: We don't want to be on camera.
Ugh yeah…video means I have to do my hair and makeup. And then I have to make sure I'm not bugging my eyes out like I tend to do when I'm talking on video. It's a little embarrassing, but I'm working on it and when I just don't feel up for it, I can do a slide show video or get someone else to make a video for me. So many options.
Lame Excuse #3: Not sure what to talk about.
That's definitely true about all content. Don't publish unless you've got something worthwhile to say and the cool thing is, if you're using done-for-you content…someone else has already figured out what you should say.
When someone has already done all that research and content creation for us, it's easy to put videos together quickly.
Ideas for Using PLR to Create Video:
Almost any prewritten content can be turned into video, so you can leverage the benefits of multimedia content. Here are just a few ideas for you.
Idea #1: Prewritten articles make great video scripts.
Find articles and other content on topics people are readily searching for on Google and you've got a new source of traffic too. Think “how to” content and other problems people need to solve.
Idea #2: Ebooks can be turned into video lessons for a high ticket course.
How much can you sell an ebook for? $27, $37…maybe $47? Those same can be broken down into video lessons and sold as a high-ticket course (perhaps for hundred of dollars a pop) for sale.
Idea #3: Get more email subscribers with a video series.
You can take shorter reports and make an informative video series. Your viewers can see the first video on YouTube or on your site and they can opt-in to get the rest of the series, so you can grow your mailing list at the same time.
Idea #4: You don't have to be on camera.
If you're okay with speaking, but really don't want your face on camera…no problem. Just open up PowerPoint and add text and images, so they tell the visual story.
Idea #5: Use the slide shows in PLR packages.
Many done-for-you and ready-to-publish packages come with slide shows, so a lot of your work is already done. Use those slides shows to quickly and easily create video content.
Idea #6: You don't even have to talk if you don't want to.
If you don't want to do the voice-over for your slide show videos, you can easily and inexpensively hire a quality voice over artist on sites like Fiverr. You've got options.
Done-for-you content is always a great time saver that allows you to free up your time to focus on growing your business, instead of constantly working in it.
It gives you the same opportunity when it comes to publishing video content. Creating a script is half the battle of making a video, so if you've got done-for-you PLR content…you're more than half way there. And if you don't want to spend the time actually making the video, there are inexpensive and convenient options for that as well.
