An Easy Way To Sell Information Products

An Easy Way To Sell Information Products

If you're not sure if an info product will sell, don't knock yourself out trying to create one without knowing.

Here are a few ways to know…

1. Promote a similar product as an affiliate to see if your customers are interested.

2. Have customers sign up for a live training course. That way, you gauge interest before you create the content. And BONUS…you can often charge more for live training programs.

3. Don't make a course. Have a webinar and invite a guest expert to teach or interview them. Collect registrations ahead of time, so you know if you have enough interest.

What to Do Next: Try a sample of our PLR, Ready-to-Brand, Monetize & Publish: “S.M.A.R.T. Goals” Worksheet.

To help you and your audience work through and create S.M.A.R.T. goals, download the quick guide and worksheet below. Of course, planning your goals is just the beginning to achieving them.

You can edit them, brand them and monetize them in any way you'd like. Use them as your opt-in offer, to help promote your products and more.

Know Your Customers To Grow Your Business

One of the most important things you can do as a business owners is to get to know your customers.

Not just what they buy, but what truly makes them tick. What worries them? What problems do they want to solve? What are they truly passionate about? What do they struggle with?

And then your next step is figuring out how you can fill in those gaps for them on an ongoing basis. Because when you speak to your audience in a way that is meaningful to them, you will have their full attention.

Here's a list of ways you can get to know your audience. Please feel free to add your own in the comments below.

* Track all the links you give them to see what they click.

* Track all the links you give them to see what they buy.

* Read and respond to their comments on your blog, groups. etc.

* Read and where appropriate, respond, to their comments on other blogs and groups.

* Ask them questions.

* Share stories about yourself or your clients and see what they resonate with.

* Invite them to share their own stories.

* Invite them to live and interactive events. It doesn't have to be fancy, just go live in your group or on your page.

I personally think Facebook Groups are fabulous tool for really getting to know your customers and creating a more personal side to your business that inspires loyalty. Of course, all audiences are different, so your platform may be your blog, Instagram, YouTube or just about anything else…but I do encourage you to find it.

Because the biggest key is to see them as people…not merely dollar signs…because ironically enough, the more you see them as people, the more dollars they'll hand over to you as lifetime customers.

And one of the best parts of happy lifetime customers who keep giving you their money is they refer other lifetime customers who keep giving you money. WIN WIN WIN!

Don’t Complicate Things, Grow Your Business Instead

Don’t Complicate Things, Grow Your Business Instead

We humans tend to complicate things...in all areas of our lives. And when we do that in our businesses, we use up precious time that could be used to GROW our businesses instead.

A few ways to simplify things in your business...

* Delegate - but review tasks to ensure they are necessary. No need to unload your overly-complex procedures to someone else...that costs money!

* Evaluate what's working and what isn't. Drop those unnecessary tasks and procedures.

* Batch work...I've mentioned this before, it really does simplify things because you're working with a larger goal in mind and will tend to do just what's necessary, rather than spending too much time on one thing.

* Look at what you do for your customers. Are they buying certain products and not others? Make more of the kind they are buying. And within your products, what components do they use the most and which do they rarely use. Cut the fluff and focus more on what they really want.

Now that's definitely not an exhaustive list. Where can you see yourself simplifying things in your business and can I assist you in figure out how to do that?

Creating Content In Batches Is The Best Thing For Your Business

Creating Content In Batches Is The Best Thing For Your Business

I've said it before, but I'll say it again…creating content in batches is one of the best things for you and your business.

And if you can get into the habit, you will reap the benefits immensely.

When you post or send on a day to day basis (I.e. create and send out your content for that day, each day), you really lose momentum and flow. And you may not realize it, but it actually takes more time than if you batch. Of course, we all have our preferences, so if you prefer the dailies, go for it.

But for me, when I schedule a bunch of emails or posts…everything gets done much more quickly and the ideas build on each other as I create. It also makes for a better audience experience because I can more easily connect ideas between content pieces and have them looking forward to the next.

In short, everything just flows and when you can flow, you’ve got create content and potentially very powerful sales material for your business.

10/10 recommended!

4 Tips To Build Momentum & Gain Focus In Your Business

4 Tips To Build Momentum & Gain Focus In Your Business

It's easy to lose your momentum when life gets busy or the summer sunshine is calling your name. And let's be serious, working at home isn't for everyone because it IS challenging to stay motivated and focused.

Here's what works for me to keep that momentum and stay focused. I'd love to hear what works for you.

1. Delegate as much as possible.

Start small and work toward getting more and more off your plate, so you can focus on being the CEO who determines the direction of your business. I know I keep saying this, but this is the absolute truth. You will stifle your growth and/or burn yourself out if you don't do this.

2. Be patient with yourself.

Taking a break is fine and you may lose track and things may get off course. Get back on it by taking some time to take stock of what you've got going on. Figure out what's priority, what you could delegate and what can wait.

3. Keep a routine.

Try to keep some kind of routine, even when you're enjoying summer or are dealing with a crisis that might keep you from work. Plan a short to do list the evening before and give yourself an hour or two in the morning to knock it out...or whatever works for you.

4. Keep your business streamlined.

This goes back to delegation, but also using automation tools and most importantly, not putting too much on your plate. Managing multiple businesses or projects isn't easy...and the more you've given yourself to do, the harder it is to get back on track when you fall off. If you find this to be true about yourself, put more of your effort into single or fewer projects and maximize them completely. (I have never fully learned this lesson, but I know it's true!)

Here's something that will help you and your readers gain focus...

An Ugly Website Can Truly Be A Beautiful Thing

An Ugly Website Can Truly Be A Beautiful Thing

You know people write to us all the time and tell us our sites are ugly (in so many words) or outdated looking. I still use old-school opt-in pages and sales pages. I make graphics that look like they're from the olden days of 2001.

But you know why I do this? Because this stuff WORKS.

This is one of the lessons conveyed in the free Pinterest Class, even though they didn't outright say it. By the way, make sure you check it out below.

When you see beautiful images and websites, what do you feel? Maybe relaxed and enjoying the view but are you paying attention what is being said? The fonts blend in to the website and don't command attention. I think we get distracted by pretty things and just see the pretty. We feel good, but not necessarily motivated.

But when we see something not so beautiful, it grabs our attention in a different way. It maybe makes us a little uncomfortable and we search for clues on what's going on. And when you're using direct response marketing techniques (like headlines, bullet points in sometimes eye-catching colors), you draw the eye in to what you are actually trying to say.

That is powerful.

Now am I suggesting that you uglify your beautiful sites and graphics? Well not totally uglify it, but I would take another look at what you're putting out there and see how it can better command attention.

Case in point, have a look at the results Daniel and John get from their “book-o-graphics” that can be replicated to promote anything … not just books.

If you want tips on adding just a bit of action-oriented ugly to your site or graphics, post a link to what you want help with below.
